Who we are
Lens of Fariha is a New York City-based photographer couple (Fariha and Midhath) offering portrait, couple, engagement, wedding, family, and graduation photography. You can reach us at [email protected].
Information we collect
- Server access logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information — IP address, user agent, requested page, timestamp, and referrer — for security and abuse prevention.
- Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which collects aggregate, privacy-preserving visit data (page, referrer, country, device class) without using cookies or fingerprinting. See our Cookie Policy for details.
- Inquiry contents. When you contact us by email or through linked social channels (Instagram), we receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, email, event date, and a description of what you need.
How we use information
- To respond to booking inquiries and provide photography services.
- To understand which sections of the portfolio are visited so we can improve the site.
- To protect the site against abuse, scraping, and unauthorized access.
Third parties
We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate this site:
- Cloudflare — hosting front-end, DDoS protection, and privacy-preserving analytics.
- Google (Gmail) — email correspondence sent to
[email protected]is processed by Google's mail servers. - Instagram (Meta) — direct messages sent to
@lensofarihaor@midhathcare governed by Instagram's own privacy policy.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers.
Data retention
Server access logs are retained by our hosting provider for a short rolling window (typically 30 days). Email inquiries are kept for as long as needed to deliver the service you asked about, and then archived or deleted on request.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information you have sent us by writing to [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Family photo sessions involving children are arranged directly with parents or guardians under a separate written agreement.
Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
